Madrid, September 04th 2015: EDP Renováveis, S.A. ("EDPR"), as a result of the news published today in the media about its Asset Rotation program, hereby clarifies, pursuant to article 248-A of the Portuguese Securities Code, that:

1. EDPR announced on June 22nd 2015 that, as the company seeks to continue developing additional growth opportunities and in order to maintain its selffunding strategic pillar, is considering the possibility to expand the scope of its Asset Rotation program.

2. EDPR informed it decided to evaluate the particular possibility of establishing a public listed YieldCo composed by European wind generation assets, as an efficient way to monetise and rotate its assets.

3. EDPR has not yet taken a decision about the potential listing of a YieldCo and continues to monitor the relevant aspects to ensure that all are taken into account, including in particular the evolution of capital markets.

EDPR will make further announcement upon a decision is reached.
