As a member of the Tarifa Wind Energy Association (AET), EDPR collaborates with the Migres Foundation – a private non-profit organization – in the research of the phenomenon of bird migration as well as in the promotion of activities geared at sustainable development.

Among the different projects and environmental initiatives launched, EDPR has taken part in a study of birds of prey in the Tarifa area, the purpose of which is to understand population trends as well as to identify possible risk factors for species such as the Egyptian vulture (Nophron percnopterus), the griffon vulture (Gyps fulvus), the Montagu’s harrier (Circus pygargus), the lesser kestrel (Falco naumanni) or the Spanish imperial eagle (Aquila adalberti).
