EDP Renewables sponsored 2013 All Energy conference in Aberdeen on May 22nd  and 23th.

It is the nation's largest alternative energy conference, and this year more than 8,000 people attended from 50 countries.

EDPR worked to increase brand awareness and also made valuable contacts with stakeholders in the UK, where a special emphasis is being put on renewable energy.
In addition to taking part as official sponsor, EDPR's Dan Finch, Manager director for MORL's project, was part of a panel that gave a talk on the latest off-shore wind energy technologies.
EDPR views Scotland as a key growth area within the UK. The All-Energy Conference was kicked off with a message from Alex Salmond MSP, the first minister of Scotland. He reported that the Scottish Government's 2020 renewable electricity target has been raised 100 percent, and pledged to move "still faster and further" to secure Scotland's place as the green energy powerhouse of Europe.
All-Energy was first held in Aberdeen in 2001, and since then every show has been larger than its predecessor in terms of attendance, number of exhibitors and space taken. This year's conference featured 50 speakers whose presentations are now on the show's website at www.all-energy.co.uk - in the ‘conference' session.
