EWEA invited renowned journalists to visit the EDP Renewables offices in Porto for a workshop on a day in the life of EDPR.
On June 17, 2014 the European Wind Energy Association (EWEA) invited renowned journalists from Portugal and the rest of Europe to visit the EDP Renewables offices in Porto for a workshop on a day in the life of EDPR.

As hosts, EDPR COO João Paulo Costeira, APREN Chairman António Sá da Costa and Head of the Porto Plant Paulo Ribeiro stated that the goal was to expand the relationship between the companies of the sector and journalists, so that the information that reaches the general public can be as efficient as possible. EDPR was able to respond to and explain its business vision, the importance of energy, and demystify the sector's operating method.

This opportunity allowed journalists to get to know EDPR better, obtaining information that can be used to ask pertinent questions that will help them write about and interpret what is happening in the world of renewable energies.

The journalists were able to see the system operate, understand the information that the system provides, get to know the system's functions, and how to interpret the results obtained. We allowed journalists to have direct access to EDPR's global dimension, so they can let people know what is really going on in EDPR's world.
