Junior Engineers Pool
Junior Engineers Pool Program is an EDPR initiative that will enable high potential young engineer graduates to start a career in a global energy company, a leader in value creation, innovation and sustainability.
The Program will give an overview of EDP R and its Technical Departments, from a structured and global program, providing challenging professional experiences that contribute to the development of technical and personal skills.
What does the Program consist of?
The program will give an overview of EDPR, providing job rotation through the opportunity to work in two different areas of expertise within the Technical Direction and Technical Area, in any country where the Company is present in Europe.
In each of the departments, the junior engineers will be involved in challenging projects and the program includes training actions allowing the acquisition of specific knowledge about the sector.
What do we offer?
The Program will have a length of 24 months, starting on March 1st 2017, where the Junior engineer will rotate along two different areas of specialization, spending 12 months in each area.
The Junior engineers will sign a labor contract with our Company, will be offered a competitive package according with the best market practices and after the second year, EDP R will analyze, according to the performance and Business needs the final location of the Trainee.
Who are we looking for?
We seek recent graduates with:
- Bachelor or Master’s degree (final-year students or master completed no more than 3 years ago) in Engineering Specialities Degrees.
- Full-time availability from March 2017
- Fluency in English (Written, speaking and reading)
- Fluency in a second language (Spanish or Portuguese is a plus)
- Availability for national and international mobility
- International experience is valued
