The online version of EDP Renewables’ Annual Report recognised by the International Academy of the Visual Arts

The company’s corporate website also received an award

EDP Renewables (EDP Renováveis, Euronext: EDPR), a global leader in the renewable energy sector and the world’s third-largest wind energy producer, once again has received accolades for the online version of its Annual Report. The web site, which offers financial information in a visual and interactive way, was recognized during the 2013edition of the W3 awards presented by the International Academy of the Visual Arts.

The online edition of the company’s Annual Report was named a  Gold Award Winner in each of the following categories:

  • Overall Website: Corporate Communications
  • Website Features: Visual Appeal
  • Website Features: Home Page

EDPR’s Annual Report also received the Silver Award in the “Overall Website:Financial Services” category.

In addition, the company’s corporate website was also recognized with the Silver Award in the Corporate Communications category.

It is the secord year in a row that EDPR has received such recognition. Last year, the company’s online Annual Report was awarded in the main “Best in Show” category and received Gold awards in the “Overall Website: Financial Services” and “Website Features: Structure and Navigation” categories.

The W3 Awards, judged by the International Academy of the Visual Arts, honor websites, online marketing initiatives, web videos and mobile apps from around the world.
