EDPR's offices in Oporto were visited by 22 senior officials of the United Nations, specifically representatives from African and Caribbean countries.

The purpose of their visit was to address the feasibility of new clean energy sources for developing countries. The UN representatives visited EDPR's Dispatch Center, where we monitor the operation of all our wind farms.

In Viana do Castelo, the UN observed the manufacturing process for wind farm turbines at the facilities of Enercon, currently responsible for the wind farms EDPR is building in Portugal. The trip was topped off with a visit to one of Europe's largest wind farms, located in the mountains to the north, close to the northern outskirts of Viana do Castelo and neighboring Spanish region Galicia.
