Recently, the Arbuckle Mountain wind farm (currently under construction and located in Oklahoma) donated $10,000 to the Smokey Valley Volunteer Fire Department which was also recently constructed near the wind farm.

The generous contribution will allow the fire department to install insulation and wood for the purposes of hanging materials and other items within the station.

Arbuckle Mountain Operations Manager Andy Woods had the privilege of presenting the donation check to the fire station.

"It was a big surprise to everyone in attendance - standing ovations, cheers, tears, handshakes, and hugs. Nearly all of the Smokey Valley Volunteer Fire Department team thanked me and let me know how much they appreciated the donation," Woods said.
