Madrid, May 6th 2015: EDP Renováveis, S.A. ("EDPR") informs that Rui Manuel Rodrigues Lopes Teixeira has submitted his resignation as member of EDPR's Board of Directors, given the new responsibilities assumed in EDP – Energias de Portugal, S.A. ("EDP") after his appointment to EDP's Executive Board of Directors.

In order to fill the vacancy, following the proposal from the Nominations and Remunerations Committee, the EDPR Board of Directors, in the meeting held yesterday, appointed by cooption Miguel Dias Amaro, shareholder of EDPR, as member of such Board to be confirmed by the next Shareholders' Meeting. The cooption proposal is according to the Number 2 of the Article 23º of EDPR Articles of Association.

The Board of Directors also approved the proposal from the Nominations and Remunerations Committee for the appointment of Miguel Dias Amaro to EDPR Executive Committee, and for his appointment as Joint Director ("Administrador Mancomunado").
