The first part, brought an exhibition entitled Le parcours de l’energie (“The Energy Pathway”) to city hall for two months. It was sponsored by the Syndicat d’électrification de la Nièvre and L’agence locale de l’energie et du climat, and gave students and residents the opportunity to learn about different kinds of energy. EDPR also hosted a Wind Discovery Day for the local school. 

These events led up to the closing party, which featured an exhibition of the students’ work to display what they had learned. The town’s mayor delivered a speech about renewable energy and sustainable development. About 40 guests attended the closing event, many of whom were the parents of children whose work was featured.
