Global Wind Day in Poland

In collaboration with local authorities, EDPR held family picnics in Tomaszów Lubelski and Jarczów. Attendees participated in an array of fun activities including face painting, arts and crafts and balloon modeling.

EDPR also invited party entertainers like mascots and stilt-walkers to entertain the crowd, and there was even a giant bubble show. The picnics featured activities for both children and their families, and the day was thoroughly enjoyed by all. Turnout was high, thanks to the beautiful weather and the entertainment offered.

In addition, schoolchildren in each of these Polish communities took part in a number of art competitions and a patchwork contest. They created all kinds of pieces related to wind power and renewable energy, making the activity educational as well as fun. The winners received their awards at a ceremony held at the end of the school year.

All of EDPR’s Global Wind Day events in Poland were highly successful and enjoyed by all. Students had the chance to let their creativity shine while learning about the importance of caring for the environment, and parents got to spend quality time with their children. The company continues to sponsor and organize events like these as part of its mission to foster community engagement and spread public awareness about renewable energy.
