EDP Renewables secures two more wind projects in France’s latest tender

EDP Renewables applied for two projects in the recent wind tender by the Commission de Régulation de l'Énergie (CRE), that together will add over 35 MW of renewable energy to the company's portfolio.  One of the awarded projects, the Sceaux Wind Farm, is the second-largest selected in this tender.

Our main projects

Wanchy Capval Londinières

Located in Normandy, in the municipalities concerned of Wanchy - Capval / Londinières. It has 7 wind turbines of 4.2 MW each with a total capacity of 29.4 MW. The energy equivalent to the consumption of 33 000 people. The construction of a dedicated power substation in order to connect to the grid. No recourse was made either on the wind project or the power substation.

Located in Ménestreau in the region of Bourgogne Franche-Comté, with 12.2 MWp. There are 13 500 people supplied with sustainable energy. The site will welcome a second productive activity. We made contact with a local woman who intends to change her activity and move on to breeding sheeps. She will freely access the photovoltaic plant thus helping her to let her animals peacefully graze aside our solar farm.

Located in Grand Est region with 4.3 MWp. There are 5280 people supplied with sustainable energy. It was the first solar farm built by EDPR in France.
