EDPR is developing offshore wind technology through Ocean Winds the 50/50 wind offshore joint venture owned by EDPR and Engie.

EDP Renewables secures its first stand-alone battery storage project in Europe
Acquired from Tupa Energy, the project will provide 2 hours of storage capacity and will contribute with 50 MW of capacity; With this project, the company will support the grid resilience by providing stability and reliability and will allow for an increased penetration of renewables in the generation mix.
EDPR enters the UK onshore market with a 544 MW wind and solar portfolio
The transaction has been reached through two separate agreements with the renewable energy companies Vento Ludens and Wind2.The entry in the UK onshore market is within the context of EDPR Business plan 2021-25, providing diversification and growth.
