Installed capacity of 199-megawatts of renewable energy
Project overview
Harvest Ridge Wind Farm is located in northeastern Douglas County, north of the town of Newman. The wind farm complements the area’s sprawling corn and soybean fields, providing farmers with a stable, weather resistant cash crop in the form of landowner lease payments.
Harvest Ridge Wind Farm yields significantly in the form of payments to landowners, local spending, and annual community investment. Harvest Ridge Wind Farm is also compatible with other land uses and provides a stable form of income to local landowners.
