Twenty-two employees from EDPR NA's Houston office volunteered their time distributing t-shirts, maps, and other pertinent information to participants of the 26th Annual Houston Area Women's Center Race Against Violence.
The Houston Area Women's Center (HAWC) helps individuals affected by domestic and sexual violence in their efforts to move their lives forward. The organization provides shelter, counseling, and advocacy to support survivors in building their lives free from the effects of violence. The organization's annual Race Against Violence event consists of a competitive 5K run, a walk, a kids fun run, and a family festival. A portion of each participant's race entry fee is contributed back to the HAWC organization to further promote its mission.

The HAWC Race Against Violence took place on Saturday, February 22, and was accompanied by picture-perfect weather and attended by more than 2,700 people, including several EDPR NA employees, family members, and friends.
