Madrid, April 15^th 2021: EDP Renováveis, S.A. (“EDPR” or the “Company”) informs that on April 15^th, 2021, the deed relating to the capital increase with the exclusion of the pre-emptive subscription rights of the Company´s shareholders, has been registered in the Commercial Registry of Asturias, for a nominal amount of 441,250,000 euros, to be implemented through the issuance of 88,250,000 ordinary shares of the Company (the “New Shares”) with a par value of 5 euros each, of the same class and series as the shares currently admitted to trading (the “Share Capital Increase”).

As a result, the share capital of the Company has been set at 4,802,790,810 euros, divided into 960,558,162 shares of 5 euros par value each, all of a single class and series.

EDPR also requested on this date: (i) the creation and integration of the New Shares in the relevant accounts of the Central de Valores Mobiliários, managed by Interbolsa – Sociedade Gestora de Sistemas de Liquidação e de Sistemas Centralizados de Valores Mobiliários S.A., with registered office at Avenida da Boavista, Nº 3433, Porto, Portugal; and for (ii) the admission to trading of the New Shares on Euronext Lisbon, the official Portuguese trading market managed by Euronext Lisbon - Sociedade Gestora de Mercados Regulamentados, S.A., with registered office at Avenida da Liberdade nº 196, 1250-096, Lisbon, Portugal (“Euronext Lisbon”).

The New Shares are expected to be created, integrated in the Central de Valores Mobiliários and admitted to trading on Euronext Lisbon on April 16^th, 2021.
