Arbuckle Mountain Staff Teach Students About Wind Power on Earth Day

EDP Renewables staff from the Arbuckle Mountain Wind Farm in Oklahoma joined the Garvin County Community Living Center to celebrate Earth Day and educate local students about wind power.

About 26 classes—representing around 550 students—showed up to answer trivia questions, learn about what it's like working at a wind farm, and try on the gear wind technicians use to work on the turbines.

Students attended the event from elementary schools located in the Oklahoma communities of Pauls Valley, Whitebead, Paoli, Wynnewood, and Lindsay.
