Project overview
The Timber Road Solar Park is located in Paulding County, northeast of the town of Payne. The solar park complements the area’s agricultural resources, providing farmers with a stable, drought-resistant cash crop in the form of landowner lease payments. In addition to landowner payments, Timber Road Solar Park generates millions of dollars in payments to local governments through the life of the project, benefiting schools, health and fire departments, the township, and county.
