Houston Employees Volunteer at Local Senior Citizens Center

Last month, employees from the Asset Management department in the Houston office volunteered at the Denver Harbor Senior Citizens Center.

Volunteers arrived at the senior center around 8:30 a.m. to help set up for their 35th anniversary celebration. EDPR employees greeted visitors, helped with registration, served coffee and cake, and assisted with clean up.

"We had a great time interacting with the seniors and guests attending the celebration for this important place in our community," said Asset Management Associate Jenny Fink.

The Denver Harbor Senior Center has been a part of the Houston community since 1980 when it began serving nutritious meals to Houstonians 60 years and older. Currently, the Center serves healthy meals to more than 80 senior citizens and offers daily recreational activities such as games, crafts, social events, birthday celebrations, and out-of-town trips.
