Madrid, April 11^th 2022: EDP Renováveis, S.A. (“EDPR”) has secured two long-term Power Purchase Agreements (“PPAs”), in a total amount of 216 MWac to sell 90% of the clean energy produced by a 240 MWac solar park in Texas which is expected to enter in operation in late 2023.

With the execution of these two PPAs, EDPR continues to increase its technological diversification with 3.7 GW of secured capacity in solar and an overall renewables’ secured capacity of 8.7 GW for 2021-25.

EDPR's success in securing new PPAs reinforces its low-risk profile and growth strategy based on the development of competitive projects with long-term visibility, fostering the acceleration of the energy transition and the decarbonization of the economy.
