In accordance with paragraph a) of article 3 of CMVM Regulation no. 5/2008, EDP Renováveis, S.A. ("EDPR") hereby informs that Mr. Rui Chancerelle de Machete has presented, by letter addressed to EDPR, his resignation as Chairperson of the General Shareholders' Meeting, following his appointment as Minister of State and Foreign Affairs of Portugal. The appointment of the new Chairperson will be submitted in the next General Shareholders Meeting.
